We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the team at Mint Springs Dentistry — our very own Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt has been honored with the Dr. Nathaniel D. Hill Rising Star Award at the 2025 American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) Annual Scientific Session in San Diego!
Often called “The Oscars of Dentistry,” the AACD’s Evy Awards recognize the best and brightest in the field of cosmetic dentistry. The Rising Star Award, in particular, celebrates one emerging leader who demonstrates outstanding promise in clinical excellence, leadership, and innovation. This year, that star is right here in Mason City.
“I’m deeply honored and grateful,” said Dr. Cruz-Orcutt. “Being recognized by the AACD — a community I truly admire — inspires me to continue growing and giving our patients the very best care possible.”
A Career Built on Excellence
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and an ongoing commitment to learning. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she graduated as Valedictorian in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Iowa. She’s a member of several prestigious dental organizations and is currently continuing advanced training at the Kois Center while mentoring other dentists as a clinical coach for the Cranham Culp Digital Dental program.
