Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt is a passionate and accomplished dentist dedicated to providing exceptional comprehensive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she graduated as Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2011, where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) honor society for her academic excellence and commitment to patient care. During her time at the University of Iowa, Dr. Cruz-Orcutt also worked as a research assistant in the Department of Immunology, contributing to three first-author publications.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt furthered her education through a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. A lifelong learner, she graduated from The Dawson Academy in 2019 and received the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2023. She is currently completing the curriculum at the Kois Center, solidifying her expertise in advanced dental care.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is an active member of numerous prestigious organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Seattle Study Club, Spear Study Club, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Cranham Culp Digital Dental program and became a clinical coach in 2023, mentoring other dentists in advancing their skills and practices.
At her private practice, Mint Springs Dentistry in Mason City, Iowa, Dr. Cruz-Orcutt focuses on delivering individualized treatment plans that prioritize her patients’ unique oral health needs.
