Dr. Noemi Cruz-Orcutt was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences as a Valedictorian at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. While receiving her dental education, she was involved in dental research and was an active leader in various dental organizations. Due to her academic performance and commitment to patient care, she was selected by her faculty to be a member of dentistry’s most prestigious honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon(OKU), in addition to receiving other dental awards. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt furthered her education by completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She practiced as an Associate Dentist in Charlottesville, Virginia prior to moving to Mason City. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is committed to lifelong learning and providing the best comprehensive dental care to her patients. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is an Alumnus of The Dawson Academy. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Seattle Study Club, Spear Study Club, and American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt entered the field of dentistry because of her desire to help others achieve the best oral health possible. She believes that everyone should enjoy life to the fullest with the benefits that good oral health provides. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt loves the joy and satisfaction that she receives from each patient interaction. She strives to individualize treatment to meet her patient’s unique oral health needs. Her primary goal is for her patients to feel at ease while receiving excellent comprehensive care.
Dr. Cruz-Orcutt and her husband, Kevin Orcutt, have two fun and energetic kids Lukas and Adaliz. Dr. Cruz-Orcutt is fluent in both English and Spanish, is an avid amateur photographer, and loves the outdoors, traveling, music, and spending time with family and friends.
Hey there, I’m Ashley Duvall, a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 14 years of experience since graduating from Hawkeye Community College in 2008. I’m laser certified and always stay updated on the latest dental technology to help my patients achieve a healthy smile better. My goal is to provide my patients with the tools they need to take charge of their dental health, not merely to clean their teeth.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mom living in Northwood, Iowa, with my husband, Dexter, and our three boys: Tucker, Ryder, and Zander. We like going to sporting events, going camping, kayaking, and supporting the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes. Our favorite spots to eat are Lime Creek Nature Center and Center State Street Deli, along with Northwestern Steakhouse.

Mason City holds a special place in my heart, particularly the Mason City Arena, which feels like a second home due to the countless hours spent cheering on and supporting my children. I embarked on my dental journey at San Antonio College, where I obtained my Dental Assisting A.A.S. degree in 2010. With over 14 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless smiles transformed. What truly fuels my passion for dentistry is being part of a team that works together to make those transformations possible.

I live in Garner, Iowa, with my husband, Tyler, and our three daughters, Clara, Nora, and Myra. We live on our 5th generation family farm, and I adore spending time with them there since they are my biggest inspiration. Outside of the dental office, I enjoy gardening and finding relaxation in my personal interests.
Hi there, I’m Shannon, your patient coordinator. I hold over 20 years of experience in working with patients, to ensure that your experience from scheduling appointments to understanding your insurance benefits goes smoothly. At each stage, I’ll make sure you’re comfortable and educated, walk you through the procedure, and respond to any questions you may have. I love connecting with patients in the way that I would enjoy: getting to know them and creating the most welcoming environment for them.
When I’m not at the office, you’ll often find me spending time with my family. My husband, Todd and I have two grown kids, Hayden and Lindsey. Hayden is currently a sophomore at ISU and Lindsey will graduate high school this spring. I enjoy reading, cheering my kids’ activities and spending time outside with our two labs. I enjoy exploring the local amenities and businesses that make our community convenient and that we are fortunate to have here in north Iowa. Some of our favorite dining spots include Tequila’s, Northwestern Steakhouse and the Blue Heron.
